About Devils Brewery
Devils Brewery is a ‘Gypsy Brewing company’. The term has found its way into the industry to describe brewers who utilise downtime on existing breweries to create their own beers.
Working with local Tasmanian producers is a large part of the business ethos and allows us to create fresh and interesting beer styles. This includes Villino’s Coffee for our ‘Midnight Expresso’ Coffee stout to our grains, smoked by Bruny Island Smoke House, for our ‘Smokey Moll’ Porter.
Our core range of 330ml bottles are available in craft beer stores across Tasmanian and we regularly release ‘Limited Release’ beers on tap with limited kegs being available to each craft beer venue.
With Devils new cellar door opening in late September 2016, a new experience in the Tasmanian Craft Beer scene can be shared, having spent months renovating a 1950’s steam train carriage at the Margate Train, Margate Tas.
Devils Head Brewer, David Tottle, says “It’s the love of making beer… sharing it with others… the unbridled creativity of it. I’m always on the lookout for interesting ingredients that could help create wild, unusual and original beers”.
